So often we have picked up a used and worn or outdated piece of furniture and it's been repaired and hand painted, bringing it back to life. These pieces will last another hundred years, and they are being kept our of the landfill!
This is the latest repaired and refinished piece that Julie just finished. This antique chest of drawers screams Classic. Elegance. and dates back more than a hundred years. It was old and really dirty with yucky dark stain. It's been hand painted with Annie's Old Ochre (a wonderful creamy color) and washed with Old White. It was then wet sanded to bring out this dressers age and protected with Annie Sloan White Wax. And, just like that, she has been rescued and has another 100+ years in front of her!
